The All Assam Tennis Association (AATA)

The All Assam Tennis Association (AATA)was formed in 1957 at Dibrugarh with eminent educationist HIRANYA KUMAR BHUYAN who was the VICE-CHANCELLOR of GUWAHATI UNIVERSITY as the PRESIDENT and Justice PARBATI KUMAR GOSWAMI as the Hony. General Secretary. At the 50th year of its existence the A.A.T.A.completed the construction of its own Tennis Complex with six synthetic courtsand a Club House with all the required facilitiesand utilities at its own land provided by the Government of Assam which was inaugurated by SRI TARUN GOGOI, H'ble Chief Minister of Assam on the 24th of January, 2007.

With the facilities provided at its Tennis Complex the A.A.T.A. could improve upon the promotion, developmental and administration of the game of tennis in the State of Assam through its various activities which include:- Conduct of International Ranking Tournaments.Conduct of National Ranking Tournaments.Conduct os State Ranking Tournaments.Conduct of Advance Coaching Programmes.Support to Players.
